Burrows quickly contacts Gretchen Morgan (a member of the Company). Gretchen is the one who kidnapped LJ - Burrows' son and Sara Tancredi - the girl Michael loves. Burrows learns that the Company wants to free Scofield Whistler from Sona. In this season 3, Michael and Whistler will build a plan to escape from the new prison. Michael continues to fall into a state of extreme urgency while Lincoln is busy dealing with a Company spy who is Gretchen Morgan. Sucre finds a job at the prison to assist Michael in the escape plan.
