In Transporter 3, Frank Martin is pressured into transporting Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of Leonid Vasilev, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency of Ukraine, from Marseilles to Stuttgart and Budapest, before ending up in Odessa on the Black Sea.  Along the way, despite the help of Inspector Tarconi, Frank struggles with the people who forced him to take the job, Vasilev's henchmen sent to stop him, and Valentina's lack of cooperation. Despite Valentina's skepticism, Frank and the girl eventually work together as they try to escape one life-threatening situation after another.
