In "The Watch", a suburban community is shaken by mysterious events. When one of their own is brutally murdered, a group of unlikely heroes forms a neighborhood watch to catch the culprit. Led by the enthusiastic but clueless Evan, played by Ben Stiller, the team includes a ragtag bunch of misfits: the crude Bob, played by Vince Vaughn; the socially awkward Franklin, played by Jonah Hill; and the eccentric Jamarcus, played by Richard Ayoade. As they uncover a plot involving aliens bent on invasion, the group must put aside their differences and save the world from extraterrestrial destruction.
