In "The Boys" Season 1, the story follows Hughie Campbell, whose girlfriend is accidentally killed by A-Train, a reckless superhero. Distraught, Hughie joins forces with Billy Butcher, a vigilante with a vendetta against superheroes, known as "supes." Together with a small team, they uncover the dark secrets of Vought International, the corporation behind the supes, and expose the corruption and abuse of power by the so-called heroes, particularly the psychopathic Homelander. As they navigate dangerous confrontations, they also grapple with personal traumas and moral dilemmas, revealing the sinister reality behind the glossy facade of heroism.
