With the desire to make a documentary about an Indian tribe in the upper Amazon River, the film crew of female director Terri Flores decided to penetrate this wild tropical forest. The crew saved the life of Paul Sarone, a man with a mysterious whereabouts. Paul's greed brought the crew to face a dangerous enemy: the giant Anaconda. At the time of its release, Anaconda created a real storm in North American theaters. The story of ordinary people trying to survive among the harshness and dangers of nature was very attractive to viewers. The message that the price to pay for bottomless greed is sometimes one's own life is conveyed quite well through the character Paul.
