In "Alien: Covenant" (2017), the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet, intercepts a distress signal from a nearby uncharted paradise. Against the advice of their android, Walter, they decide to investigate. Upon arrival, they discover David, the sole survivor of the doomed Prometheus mission, who has been living on the planet for years. However, the paradise soon reveals its dark secrets as the crew encounters the deadly Xenomorphs and a horrifying new evolutionary stage of the alien species.
