"The Rock" (1996) follows a group of rogue U.S. Marines who seize control of Alcatraz Island and threaten to launch deadly rockets filled with nerve gas at San Francisco. The FBI recruits a former British Intelligence agent, now incarcerated on Alcatraz, along with a former chemical weapons expert, to lead a covert mission to infiltrate the island and stop the terrorists.
