This is actually a sequel to The Mechanic (2011) - a film about a clever, agile assassin who can create a perfect fake scene after his attack, making his target look like the victim of an unfortunate accident.  At the beginning of Mechanic: Resurrection, Arthur Bishop has "washed his hands of the sword" and started a new life. But he is still tracked down by criminal organizations. They want the assassin to carry out three assassinations, disguising them all as accidents.  Bishop refuses and escapes. But the fateful encounter with the beautiful Gina (Jessica Alba) on a beautiful island in Thailand is completely out of his plan. The event forces Bishop to "reappear in the world", temporarily giving in to the villain.
