Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a computer-animated anime film released in 2005, directed by Nomura Tetsuya and co-directed by Nozue Takeshi. This version is set two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII in the city of Edge. Cloud Strife works as a courier while Tifa Lockhart takes care of two children, one of whom is Barret's adopted daughter sent to them. A strange disease called Geostigma strikes the city, and Cloud is summoned to help find the cause of the illness.
